    The General Assembly is over, so I’ve upgraded all of the cmglobal sites to WordPress 3. Seems to have gone well.

    That is one of the issues that we face when setting up sites using any Content Management software (Drupal, Wordpress, EE, Joomla)… keeping the background applications up to date. Often for security reasons more than for new features.

    So, how best to manage these things? Keep an ongoing “contract” with folks you’ve built websites for? Teach the client to update it themselves? (This might just work for WP because of the ability to update from the administration interface.). How much should the client (the folks you built a website for) be expected to know about this stuff?
